What is behind Astra?

A long time ago, back in 1647, when it was still called "Bavaria Beer", the first bottle of delicious Astra beer was brewed. In 1897, the brewery expanded rapidly and tried its luck on the stock exchange. The name change from "Bavaria Beer" to "Astra Urtyp" took place 12 years later, without the traditional Hamburg brewing culture suffering as a result. After the takeover in 1999, the trademark was born, namely the typical heart anchor.
