Payment

We offer the following payment methods:
  • PayPal
  • Credit
  • Klarna PayNow (formerly SOFORT Überweisung)
  • Purchase on account (supported by our partner Unzer) from a minimum order value of 10 €
    Not applicable to orders containing pre-sale items
Unfortunately, products from Cuba cannot be paid for with PayPal.

Shipping

  • We only ship to Germany.
  • We ship daily from Monday to Friday with DHL.
  • For heavy packages, we use secure cardboard boxes optimised for cans and barrels.
  • If we have good, used cardboard boxes in our warehouse, we use them for shipping light packages to protect the environment.
  • We use environmentally friendly materials for shipping (cardboard boxes, paper tape instead of plastic, etc.).
  • The delivery time for an order depends on the item with the longest delivery time. On request, we can check whether a partial delivery is possible.
  • Orders weighing more than 29.5 kg will be divided into several shipments.
  • Orders containing alcoholic items will not be handed over to minors in accordance with the German Youth Protection Act.

Shipping costs (including VAT)

  • We charge a flat shipping fee of 5.99 € per order. Orders exceeding the weight limit of 29.5 kilograms will be split into multiple shipments. Based on this, a weight-dependent shipping scale will be applied – for each additional 29.5 kilograms, the shipping costs will be increased by 5.99 €.

    Orders weighing less than 29.5 kg = 5.99 €
    Orders weighing between 29.51 and 59.0 kg = 11.98 €
    Orders weighing between 59.01 and 88.5 kg = 17.97 €
    Orders weighing between 88.51 and 118.0 kg = 23.96 €

    and so on.

Returns

  • Items can be returned to us within 14 days without giving a reason, see Right of withdrawal.
  • You can obtain reduced-cost labels for returns with DHL from customer service on request.
  • Refunds for returns will be made promptly after we have received and checked them.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept opened multipacks.

Defective items / complaints

  • Please do not return goods that you wish to complain about to us without being asked to do so. Instead, contact ahoi@dosenmatrosen.de with a description and photos of the damage.
  • If it is already apparent upon delivery that the shipment is damaged, refuse to accept it, pointing out the obvious damage .
  • Please report any transport damage that becomes apparent later, as well as incorrect, damaged or missing items immediately after receipt of the shipment, with supporting photos, to our customer service.
  • If a complaint is rejected because the returned item does not meet the return conditions or has already been opened, you are obliged to pay the return shipping costs and the purchase price of the item. In this case, the item will be returned to you for a weight-based shipping fee (see shipping costs, minimum 5.99 €).


Non-Acceptance

  • Simply not accepting the order does not constitute an effective declaration of withdrawal. Withdrawal requires an informal declaration – a short letter, an email or even a phone call is sufficient. If the order is returned to our warehouse due to unsuccessful delivery attempts (or due to non-collection from the nearest DHL branch, delayed acceptance)
  • If the order is returned to our warehouse due to unsuccessful delivery attempts (or due to non-collection from the nearest DHL branch, default of acceptance), additional costs for the return shipment and additional logistics expenses will be incurred. We will deduct these costs from your credit note.
  • If you then wish to have the order re-shipped, you will be responsible for the shipping costs. We reserve the right to wait until we have received these shipping costs from you before reshipping the goods.


Deposit

  • Disposable packaging subject to a deposit can be returned to any relevant point of sale if the respective points of sale sell disposable containers made from the same material.
  • Empty cans can also be returned to us. The customer pays the shipping costs. We will then refund the deposit amount.

Return of empty 6l Perfect Draft kegs
Empty 6l Perfect Draft kegs can be returned to our warehouse. However, to cover the costs of return shipping, which we bear, and processing by our employees on site, we must deduct 4.50 € from the resulting credit note.

Please enter your order number as the customer reference so that we can correctly assign the returned kegs to your order. You can then either download the label and print it yourself or simply show the QR code you receive by email at a DHL parcel shop and receive the return label in return.
